‘The Haven is a women's refuge employing 74 staff
and providing services to women and children who
experience domestic violence.

During the development of our 5 year business plan
we came to a block. We wanted to do everything,
change the world, offer all the services possible etc.
We needed help to refocus and prioritise and retained
ASF Development.

They helped us create a clear structure for the way
forward but ensured every member of the board had
input to the plan. During our sessions they skilfully
moved us through the debating process and were
not afraid to challenge and re-focus where necessary.
The combination of skills used during the process was
appropriate and well managed. They have helped our
organisation achieve a great deal and in particular
they created an environment of shared ownership
and responsibility for all.'
